Flat feet which is also called fallen arches or “pes planus” is a deformity in which the arches of the foot collapse, with the entire sole of the foot coming into near or complete contact with the ground.
It is often hereditary.
Standing or walking for very long periods of time, especially in high heeled shoes.
Wearing uncomfortable shoes without proper arch support.
Aging factor, weight gain – (muscles weakening in the feet, ankles and lower legs) , ankle sprain, broken bones and feet injuries.
Flat feet pain can be relieved by wearing proper shoes or/and a special insole for additional support.
